Sweet on Trader Joe's Sunday: Coconut Crispy Rolls Wafer Cookies

Here we are...our first Trader Joe's review of the year!

Trader Joe's review: Coconut Crispy Rolls Wafer Cookies
Mr. E and I breezed through Trader Joe's yesterday, and this small little box caught my eye...Coconut Crispy Roll Wafer Cookies. They're described as "rolled thin coconut wafer cookies from a traditional Thai recipe." They are, in fact, made in Thailand. A box costs $1.99.

These are packaged well on the inside. The cookies are encased in a vacuum-packed foil package.

He (Mr. E) says: The flavor and shape are something new to my taste buds. Possibly the best "crispy crunch" I've ever had, and as someone who grew up on sugary cereal as a kid, that's sayin' somethin'. The coconut content is perfect. The only reason I didn't give these 5 stars is that I was looking for some sort of filling. I can only imagine how good they'd be with FILLING!
Overall rating: 4.5 of 5 stars

She says: This is the best new TJ's product I've had in a while. The cookies are perfectly crispy, with lots of thin layers. They're light with a mild coconut taste coming from coconut milk. I really appreciate that they're only 6 ingredients with no artificial anything. Another thing I appreciate is that Trader Joe's gives the calorie count per serving and for the WHOLE BOX. I think that's a sign that Trader Joe's knows they're onto something.
