A 6-ounce bag of the Dark Chocolate Drizzled Plantain Chips costs 2.99. The chips contain no added sugar other than what is in the chocolate. Serving size is 1/2 cup!

If you've never eaten a plantain before, they're not as sweet as bananas although they look very similar. They're also more sturdy and hold up really well to frying. Check out my friend Meseidy over at The Noshery for all things plantain.{Side note: if you are a banana lover, be sure to make these Nutella-Filled Banana Muffins. Trust me.}

He says: Great combination of plantain chips and chocolate, BUT...not great execution.  The chocolate was kind of tacky (like it wasn't tempered), and I didn't pick up much of the sea salt. Still, I wouldn't turn these down if they were offered, but I wouldn't choose them over plain chocolate or plain plantain chips by themselves.
