  2. My mother used to use a similar product (Bridgford frozen bread dough) to make raised donuts. She'd thaw the dough, roll it out, cut out round donuts (and the donut hole), let them rise and then fry the donuts and holes, and then dip them in white sugar. We loved them. She was German and also made "Damphnudle" with the thawed dough--a raw cinnamon roll slice steamed in blackberry juice--heavenly! We'd pick the wild blackberries in our neighborhood! I love your blogs!
