10 Most Popular Recipes for March 2023

Suddenly, POPULAR from Wicked is playing in my brain. I like it.

10. Chocolate Peanut Butter Ice Cream Pie

I suggest you make Chocolate Peanut Butter Ice Cream Pie for Pi Day (3-14). The pie is simple to make with literally 5 ingredients. It'll need to freeze several hours before serving, so it's perfect when you have company for dinner.

9. Sister Anna Laura's Chocolate Revel Bars

Revel bars are chocolate-filled (!!!) cookie bars with an oaty-buttery crust and topping. A favorite recipe shared by one of my favorite people. A win-win...ok, maybe not for my waistline, but I'm calling it a win anyway.

8. Chocolate Brownie Energy Balls

Made with sunflower seeds, dates, and cocoa (and, of course, chocolate chips), Chocolate Brownie Energy Balls are healthy little bites loaded with chocolate brownie flavor - the perfect pick-me-up!

7. Southern Cheese Crackers

To me, southern cheese crackers are made for entertaining. Warmer weather calls for inviting friends over for drinks on the patio...and these crackers.

6. How to Make Watercolor Cookies

OK...not a recipe, but a tutorial for making watercolor cookies that INCLUDES links to the recipes you need. Watercolor cookies are the perfect project for kids home on spring break! Much, much easier than dealing with piping bags and sprinkles all over the kitchen. Trust me.

5. Easter Trifle

Easter doesn't fall until April this year, but Easter Trifle still makes the list of popular March recipes. Maybe you can practice it in March, hide it from the kids, and eat the whole thing yourself? You know...for practice.

4. Buttermilk Bundt Cake

This buttermilk bundt cake is a dream. When I describe the flavor to you, you will have to just go with me. It tastes...LIKE CAKE. Meaning, there's no almond, no lemon, no cherry. It tastes like what you imagine "cake flavor" to be. As with many Bundt cakes, this one is actually better after it's had a day to rest after baking.

3. Carrot Bundt Cake with Salted Caramel Cream Cheese Frosting

carrot bundt cake, favorite march recipes

Spring calls for carrot cake. And this one takes the, well, cake. It is absolutely scrumptious!

2. Favorite Irish Soda Bread

I cannot wait to make this again for St. Patrick's Day! A little biscuit-y in texture, the Irish soda bread is just a bit sweet and studded with raisins, both dark and golden, and caraway seeds. Slather with Irish butter like Kerrygold

1. Perfect Every Time Cut-Out Cookies

perfect, no chill, cut-out cookies

No surprise with St. Patrick's Day and Easter season, these cut-out cookies are my go-to for a reason. The cookies bake up thick and substantial...not crunchy. They're soft but not too soft. They hold up well to icing, packaging, and even shipping! No dough chilling is required, and they freeze like a dream.
