Sweet on Trader Joe's Sunday: Cocoa-Filled Pinwheel Cookies

Happy Sunday! Before we get to the review, I have to make a public service announcement:
Woo hoo!

I *only* bought 6 boxes of Pumpkin O's and the cashier said, "stocking up?" Thinking about how I bought enough boxes to last us through February last year, I was close to saying, "honey, you have no idea."

Trader Joe's Cocoa-Filled Pinwheel Cookies review

She says: These are THE CUTEST cookies! The pinwheel design is so, so fun and whimsical. Extra credit for cute. I loved the cocoa cream inside. The cookie itself is crispy, but a little dry. Still though, I ate three as soon as I opened the box (in the car on the way home from Trader Joe's.)

He says:
TJ's pinwheel cookies are really wheelie good!  But seriously, they are exactly as advertised.  The crisp cookie and the cocoa cream filling are an excellent combination.  I was thinking these could be paired with a hot latte or cold vanilla bean ice cream (and I'm still thinking that) but they stand on their own.  I dare you to eat just one!

  3. Y'all are so cute! Love he said, she said!

  4. You've got to try the little pumpkin chocolate mousse treats. They come in a six pack, and if it's warm where you live I recommend storng them in the fridge. I also saw they had a pumpkin Kringle but managed to resist picking it up.

    1. Hi Kate! Thanks! We'll have the try the pumpkin mousse treats. We have reviewed the Pumpkin Kringle. Here's the link:

  5. Cocoa filled Pinwheels are my most favorite TJ’s cookies and they have been out of them for awhile here in NY. I have 2 left and am trying not to eat them until I get more.
