8 Must-Make Ice Creams and Frozen Desserts

It. Is. Hot. Outside. School started for many of our area school today, nevermind the fact that the actual high temperature was 102. Heat index with the humidity? 412.

That's why we need, that's why YOU need, ice cream. And lots of it.

Here are eight of our very favorite ice cream desserts:
(Please keep in mind, some of these are from very old, very embarrassing blog posts. The recipes are worth suffering through the embarrassment.)

You know the cookie...graham cracker crumbs, butter, chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, coconut, pecans, and sweetened condensed milk. It's all in here.

3. Three-Ingredient Chocolate Sorbet

Really! THREE ingredients. It's so rich, you'll never believe that it's dairy-free and egg-free. No funky ingredients, either!

I can't express to you how good this is. Well, maybe I can. Y'ALL. IT IS SO GOOD! Don't let the secret ingredient scare you off!

5. Kahlua-Coffee Ice Cream Dream Cake

Another one that comes together in a jiffy. The name alone should have you running to the store for ingredients.

6. Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Ice Cream

There's something about peanut butter in ice cream that I really like. Maybe it adds a bit of creaminess...maybe it's the way it works with the chocolate. Whatever it is, it works in this rich, indulgent ice cream.

7. Coffee Turtle Ice Cream Pie

This was on the blog not too long ago. I think I'm still carrying a bit of it on my thighs. It's SO worth it. Go for it!

8. Vanilla Bean Frozen Yogurt

It sounds so simple...and it is. It's also perfection. Creamy, rich, tangy, velvety. You'll be happy you made it!
